Using:
ASUS Tinkerboard
Sandisk Class 10 16 GB SD card

Following steps to install ROS for:
OS: Ubuntu
ROS: Lunar
Flavour of ROS: Desktop (not desktop-full)
Following instructions here is error free:
http://wiki.ros.org/lunar/Installation/Ubuntu
The standard TinkerBoard image is debian arm64 based. For ROS lunar, only supports Ubuntu packages for armhf, there is arm64.
Therefore the easiest path to getting ROS lunar running on the TinkerBoard is to use Armbian 5.38 and install the Ubuntu packages.
