Ever wanted to add Lidar to a WaveShare Jetbot? Yeah me too...
The Waveshare JetBot platform is limited when it comes to extensions. What you see above is a successful attempt to 3D print a frame to allow mounting of Turtlebot Waffle plates to then attach Lidar and an IMU.
This makes is similar to a Turtlebot3 Burger.
This results in a functional, low cost ROS/ROS2 robot with:
*18650 Lithium batteries (3) for a long run time
* Wide angle 8MP camera
* 360 Lidar (4000 samples per second)
* Nvidia Nano 4GB with a fast Samsung 128Gb SD card (30-60 Mb sustained data transfer)
* 9Dof IMU
* Differential Drive
